EDUCACIÓN, PAZ Y CONVIVENCIA ESCOLAR

This research proposes a pedagogical methodology framed from education for peace, specifically from the area of social sciences, in the cycles of night shift teaching. In order to carry out this research, activities focused on social issues were developed to highlight the importance and significance of peace, all framed in the methodology and pedagogical model proposed from the classroom. The incidental sample consisted of 500 students of cycles 1,2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 with ages between 16 and 53 years, 12 teachers from the social sciences area of the Integrated schools of Fontibon headquarters A night shift and Costa Rica headquarters A Day Nocturne, Town of Fontibon; Bogota Colombia. For the study, the mixed methodology was applied within the feasible project modality, supported by a field investigation of a descriptive and non-experimental nature. To collect the data, the field diary and the survey were used as a technique, as an instrument the questionnaire, the validity was determined by expert judgment and reliability through the Cronbach's Alpha. The data were processed with quantitative interpretation based on a statistical analysis of frequency and percentage of response. The results show that students have an inclination to find real paths that generate conflict resolution and habits of healthy coexistence and peace from the classroom, so that students assume an active role and committed to society. leer todo...
